Distractions

The past few days have been filled with mental distractions which have drained my emotional tank. Its amazing how a voice in your head can gain your attention and cause you to miss what's going on right beneath your nose! Our distractions become our destinations, and when we get there, we wonder how we got there! So tomorrow I will try again to remain focused and if not, I'll give it my best the day after that!

  1. I became very frustrated today myself. I find with TV, cell phones, computers and a whole lot of other things this world has for me, I am constantly distracted from prayer, scripture and worship. I think I'll commit to leaving the TV off for a month and using the computer for email only also.

  2. Sometimes Pastor Randy, when we feel we accomplished little due to distractions, it was really God giving us a break to see other areas of need? Every moment I try to think: "How is this of His Will?" and if the answer is: "It clearly isn't" then I ask the Holy Spirit to take control and release the distraction to His command so that I may move forward. : ) Any knowing all you have accomplished in HIS name, I can assure you, you aren't a person easily distracted by the enemy! May God continue to use you as He has thus far and bless your family greatly.
